xvfb Screenshot Setup
Successfully configured headless screenshot capability using xvfb + Chromium.
Installation Steps
- Installed xvfb:
yum install xorg-x11-server-Xvfb - Verified Chromium availability
- Installed ImageMagick for image processing
Screenshot Method
- Uses virtual framebuffer (no physical display needed)
- Runs Chromium in headless mode
- Captures full webpage as PNG
- Works without Chrome extension
Test Results
- Successfully captured Baidu homepage
- File:
baidu_final.png(130KB) - Quality: Full resolution, complete page capture
